How to Register in MyUPMC
To access the MyUPMC online patient health portal and manage your health information anywhere anytime, you must be eligible and need to register and create an online account. You are eligible to use MyUPMC if you have the following requirements.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- You have access to the internet
- You are the parent or legal guardian of a minor patient
- If you are a legal guardian, you need to provide a court order to obtain proxy access to a minor patient.
If you are an eligible UPMC consumer, who is prompted by their doctor or wants to use the MyUPMC Online Portal on their own, can visit myupmc.upmc.com.
Entering the home page, you can see the blue “Create Account” button at the top right corner on the screen. Click on it and you will be directed to the MyUPMC Terms and Conditions page. Review the entire details of the disclaimers, privacy policy, warranty, account usage, limitation thoroughly before click on the “Accept and Continue” button. Move forward and enter the following information to initiate the registration.
- First Name
- Middle Initials (Optional)
- Last Name
- Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
- Sex (Male/Female)
- Last 4 digits of Social Security Number
- Mobile Phone Number (Optional)
- Home Phone Number (Optional)
- Email Address
- Access Code (If you have only, not required)
Click the “Continue” button when you are done. You can also click the “Back” button and check the information provided on the previous page once again. Create your username and password to set up your MyUPMC Account.
How to Log In MyUPMC Account
Once you register and create your MyUPMC Account, you can log in to it and access your health information using your computer and mobile device with an internet connection 24 hours a day 7 days a week. To log in
- Go to myupmc.upmc.com
- Click the “Log In” link located at the top right side of the page
- Enter the login details, username, and password in their respective fields
- Click the “Log In” button to enter your MyUPMC account
MyUPMC Login After logging in you can be automatically logged out if you will be inactive for 15 minutes. This security feature is to keep the users’ information securely when your device is unattended. You should log out your MyUPMC Account if you need to leave your computer for any period of time.

If the MyUPMC Account users cannot recall their username or password in case they can recover the credentials. For that you need to click the “Forgot username?” or “Forgot password?” link based on your requirement in the login page and complete a short form.
To Find the Username you have to provide the following details and it will be sent to the email address on your file

Pay the Bills:
The MyUPMC accountholders can view and pay the current statements for UPMC physicians, UPMC hospitals and UPMC Cancer Center. To do that, they need to log into their MyUPMC account and select Billing and choose the method and provide the required details to pay the bills.
